I must say, that Dreamcatcher is by far King's best work in years! At least on a horror standpoint. The story is very fast paced, and definitely what you could call a page-turner. And, as a longtime King fan, I was very pleased to finally get another Derry story! It's the story of four men, friends since childhood, who are on their annual hunting trip. As a stranger stumbles into camp, muttering strange things and obviously ill, they know something is not right. From there, their worlds are turned upside down, and the end result is a battle for humanity against alien forces. The four men know that their only hope is the one thing that has tied them together all these years; their dreamcatcher.... and just wait until you find out what that dreamcatcher is! With rich characters and lots of action and edge-of-your-seat suspense, this is a definite must-read! King will leave you wondering, until the very end, just what the hell is going on. Kudos to King for such a delicious story!
