The Tale of the Body Thief, the 4th novel in Rice's Vampire Chronicles is a very entertaining read. The Vampire Lestat has gotten himself in trouble yet again. This time, he has agreed to switch bodies with a mortal man for a day, longing to see the sun and be a mortal for a short time. Of course, it wouldn't be that simple for our Lestat. The being he switched with is a liar and a thief, and does not return to the specified meeting place, leaving Lestat alone as in a cold mortal world. Lestat enlists the help of his friend David Talbot to try and retrieve his vampire body, and the adventure begins.
I enjoyed this book, after several tries. It took me a while to get into it, the first half was very slow moving. Once I got through that, the pace picked up and I couldn't put it down.
