Anne Rice's The Vampire Armand, the 5th installment in her Vampire Chronicles. I love this book. Well, the first half was a bit dry, and did bore me somewhat, but the second half really picked up and caught my interest. This is the tale of Armand, in his own words. We learn the intimate details of his meeting the great Marius, and how he was made into a vampire. And finally, more questions are answered about the Children of the Night cult that Armand led for hundreds of years. Some insight into the death of Louis and Lestat's child vampire Claudia as well. All in all, this was a great read, and a lovely addition to the Vampire Chronicles!
